June NM UFO/Paranormal Forum Meeting

This is our last meeting until August and we hope you can make it! We have some great speakers planned for next Fall too!

Who: John Zeuli
When: June 18, noon - 2:30
Where: North Domingo Baca Center (7521 Carmel NE – Wyoming N of Paseo in Room 4)

Remote Viewing and Dowsing

The missing links to Turbo-Charge your paranormal investigations

All too often, paranormal investigators are left playing 'catch up' after a paranormal event has occurred.  While the investigators do laudable work, so much more is possible with the powerful tools of Remote Viewing and dowsing.

This workshop / presentation includes a brief overview of the United States intelligence community Remote Viewing (psychic spying) program as well as actual training sessions done by the presenter.  While the presentation does not violate personal boundaries, it does respectfully and creatively apply Remote Viewing and dowsing specifically to paranormal investigation.  The result is profound. This will be a practical, interactive workshop that encourages questions and comments anytime during or after the presentation.

Remote Viewing and dowsing allow you to get ahead of the curve in paranormal investigations rather than playing catch up. In addition, the paranormal tools of 'dream tasking,' 'day tasking' and a team approach will be addressed.   During the presentation participants have the opportunity to participate in a hands on exercise to empower their personal research interests in the paranormal.   It will be an adventure!

John Zeuli, MSW, worked as a psychotherapist for over a decade and has owned diverse businesses. His fine art portraiture includes paranormal notables Russell Targ, Dean Radin, Linda Mouton Howe, Lyn Buchanan, Larry Dossey, Stanton Friedman, Darrell Sims (the alien hunter), Jesse Marcel and numerous other authors and high profile individuals. John is a formally trained remote viewer and dowser and has consulted on numerous investigations.

May NM UFO/Paranormal Forum

Greg Bishop – Saturday, May 21st. 12:00-2:30 p.m.
North Domingo Baca Center (7521 Carmel NE – Wyoming N of Paseo in Room 4):
Presentation Title: Ufology – New Directions
Synopsis: Using ideas from his new book “It Defies Language!” as a basis, Greg will outline possible directions for UFO study using discoveries in physics, psychology, cognition, and information theory. What do UFO witnesses report when they have no films, books, television or other media to tell them what they are seeing? How different are these accounts from reports that originate in media-saturated areas? Using the work of respected researchers and others outside the field, we will see how the last frontier of UFO study may be the witnesses themselves, who are ultimately the best instrument we have for measuring the mystery.
Greg will also bring along some rare items from his research into the Paul Bennewitz saga as told in his book “Project Beta.”
Bio: Interested in “facts that don’t fit” from an early age, in 1991, Greg Bishop co-founded a magazine called The Excluded Middle, which was a journal of UFOs, conspiracy research, psychedelia and new science. It ceased publication in 1999. Wake Up Down There!, which anthologized many of the articles and features, was published in 2000 by Adventures Unlimited Publishing.  Greg’s second book was Project Beta: The Story of Paul Bennewitz, National Security, and the Creation of a Modern UFO Myth (2005 Simon & Schuster/ Pocket Books) which documented a government campaign of disinformation perpetrated against an unsuspecting U.S. citizen in Albuquerque, NM.  Weird California, a portrait of strange and eerie history and places in the Golden State, was released by Sterling Publishers and Barnes & Noble in 2006. Greg contributed about 75% of the material and photos. From December 2007 to November 2011, Greg blogged for the UFO and paranormal site Ufomystic. His current book It Defies Language is composed for the most part of entries from that blog along with older material and brand new articles written just for the collection. For two years Greg hosted The Hungry Ghost, a radio show of interviews and music airing on pirate FM station KBLT in Los Angeles. His current show, Radio Misterioso can be heard live at killradio.org, and podcasts are available for download. Interviews with fringe-topic researchers and weird music are the usual fare.

April NM UFO/Paranormal Forum

David Marler – Admission always free! Saturday, Apr 16th. 12:00-2:30 p.m.
North Domingo Baca Center (7521 Carmel NE – Wyoming N of Paseo in Room 4):
Presentation Title: The Flying Saucer Invasion of 1950 – Farmington, NM and Beyond
Synopsis: In March of 1950, reports of hundreds of “flying saucers” were reported in broad daylight by thousands of eyewitnesses in Farmington, NM. This incredible episode transpired over a full three day period. Many people have heard of this incident. However, not much thorough research has been done regarding it.  This presentation will delve into the newspaper reports, investigators’ notes, and possible photographic evidence from the time period. Recorded interviews with eyewitnesses will also be heard. Much of this material has never been made public before now. This examination will show that what occurred in Farmington, NM in 1950 was the tip of the iceberg when it came to overall UFO activity that year. It stands out as one of the most dramatic and well-documented cases in the history of the UFO phenomenon.
Bio: David Marler has had a lifelong interest in the UFO subject. He joined The Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) in 1990 as a Field Investigator Trainee. Since then, he has served as Field Investigator, State Section Director, as well as Illinois State Director. David is currently an independent UFO researcher. During his tenure with MUFON, he had conducted numerous investigations into alleged UFO sightings and related experiences. He has discussed the subject of UFOs on several radio and television news programs. He has also lectured on the subject to numerous school and adult audiences over the years.
David has assisted the History, Learning, Discovery, Science, and Smithsonian Channel on UFO documentaries over the years in addition to independent productions. David has one of the largest personal libraries of UFO books, journals, magazines, newspapers, and case files from around the world that covers the last 65 years. With this he has been examining the detailed history of UFO sighting reports and related patterns.  Recent evidence of his historical research is his newly-published book, Triangular UFOs: An Estimate of the Situation. Here, he has provided a comprehensive analysis of triangular UFOs. He has collected, collated, and analyzed hundreds of reports. In the process, he has created a detailed profile of these objects and written a rich narrative of their history. He tackles the arguments made by skeptics that dismiss these triangular UFO reports outright. He also addresses the claims of so-called insiders who claim these objects are a creation of the U.S. military.
David strives to have an open mind regarding the UFO phenomenon. However, he also acknowledges the need for a skeptical approach when examining each individual UFO report. Despite the large percentage of misidentifications and hoaxes in the UFO data, David recognizes what appears to be a core phenomenon beneath it all.
David received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville (SIUE). He received his Certification in Hypnotherapy from Mottin and Johnson Institute of Hypnosis in St. Louis, Missouri.   David is a Registered Polysomnographic Technician (RPSGT) and assisted in diagnosing and treating patients that suffered from various sleep disorders for several years at a major St. Louis-based medical facility. He currently works for an international medical company and resides in the Albuquerque, NM area.  CONTACT INFO: triangularufos@hotmail.com

March Meeting

The NM UFO/Paranormal Forum Presents:
Michele Buchanan
March 19, 2016 (Noon-2:30p.m.)
North Domingo Baca Center ~ 7521 Carmel NE (Wyoming N of Paseo) Rm #4

Since our March meeting is just two days after St. Patrick’s Day, we thought a wee bit o’ Irish storytellin’ and Celtic lore was in order…

Our speaker for March will be Michele Buchanan, a local author who is well-versed in Irish and Celtic mythology and who also plays the Celtic harp (not HAARP (; ) quite ethereally.

Michele grew up in Los Alamos, NM, and is now retired from a long career as a special education teacher in Albuquerque. After retiring, she immersed herself in learning to play the Celtic harp and performs harp and vocals at festivals and other events. She is also an avid sewer, quilter, and has won awards for her surface embroidery, as well as medieval and Renaissance clothing.  Michele has taught at Osher, Oasis, and the ABQ Historical Society, giving talks on the history of the Celtic harp, the history regarding CeltIberians, as well as Scottish foundations of the city of Albuquerque.  Her newly published book Scota's Harp examines the Egyptian connection to the Irish and Scottish culture.

Varied paranormal experiences throughout life have taught her to have an open mind, for it is the anomalous exceptions to our belief systems that can lead us to a better understanding of why we’re here.  Michele will speak about Celtic mythology and the connections it has to the paranormal and what we consider to be alien or supernatural beings. Michele’s book will be available for purchase and signing at the meeting, or it can also be purchased online at Amazon at:  http://www.amazon.com/Scotas-Harp-Michele-Buchanan/dp/1940769469.

February meetings of NM UFO/Paranormal Forum

Make Valentine month even sweeter by attending both NM UFO/Paranormal Forum meetings!  Admission is free.  Socializing will be at Chili’s directly following the meetings.

Sat. Feb 13th. 12:15-2:30 (Room # 4 North Domingo Baca Center):
Donald M. Ware, LTC (USAF Ret.) has studied UFOs since he saw seven alien vehicles over Washington, DC on July 26, 1952. He received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University in 1957 and an MS in Nuclear Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology in 1972. After serving his country as a fighter pilot, staff scientist, test manager, and teacher, he retired from the Air Force at the end of 1982. He served as State Director and Eastern Regional Director for MUFON, and in 1993 he became a Director of the International UFO Congress. He is on the Advisory Board of the Exopolitics Institute trying to move formal interaction with those from other planets to an unclassified level, (www.exopoliticsinstitute.org), and he advises the new IUFOC, (www.openminds.tv). His search for truth has led to physical, mental, and spiritual interactions with the larger reality represented by the alien presence. Fifteen papers documenting his findings while seeking truth are at www.freewebs.com/donware.
Don’s presentation will focus on three subjects: The meaning of the Prime Directive as taught to humans for almost every night since Star Trek started that effort using mass media “fiction/entertainment;” the CIA disclosure of 1980 allowed to be published after the author died, which Don completed this year in Genesis for the Space Race: The Inner Earth and the Extra Terrestrials; and the organizational structure of the shadow world government.
Don will be driving from Georgia on his way to the 2016 International UFO Congress in Fountain Hills/Scottsdale, AZ. He has agreed to stop in Albuquerque and be our special guest this month. We will be taking up a “love donation” for Don to cover his additional travel costs and he will also be selling books. Don’t miss him!

Sat. Feb 20th. 12:00-2:30 (Room # 4 North Domingo Baca Center):
Richard Smith (UFO Teacher) Born in Tampa, Florida, Smith grew up in New York and began studying classical piano at the age of 11. In his early teens, he continued to perform and compete in musical recitals but his interests began moving in the direction of art and math, showing an unusually strong aptitude for both by his late teens. At the age of 21, his childhood memories came to the forefront in an eruption of total recall as he was confronted with a major decision that would forever alter the course of his life. Would it be the painted canvas or the musical composition? At the flip of a coin, the artist won and the musician receded into the background. The total recall he experienced represented his first major awakening and would reveal many secrets about his family’s lifelong connection to the arena of non-indigenous alien contact as well as the grander scope of extraterrestrial intervention, past and present.
Smith is an experiencer, author, international speaker and radio host on the topic of alien contact, the Moorish Legacy, human origins and related matters. Smith received high honors at New York State University for his dedicated work with Extraterrestrial Intervention and Alien Abduction Phenomena. Globally recognized for spearheading the Human Origins Revolution, he currently resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and has been speaking worldwide with author events, interviews, lectures and conferences. He has recently published his third book: The Moor, the Mason and the Alien - A Call to Action. Richard’s website and book is available at:  http://ufoteacher.com/.
Richard Smith is also an executive committee member of the NM UFO/Paranormal Forum. He spoke at our forum in January 2015. We welcome him back in February for another great lecture and book signing!
